Helen and I were sitting in the front room just watching the continuous changing mountain scenery. It rained last night and then this morning when the sun hit the mountains, clouds started to form in the lower valley areas and creeped along the ridges. Then suddenly this rainbow appeared.
Today we were in Denver to walk with Aliza Saper, daughter of Beth and Buddy Saper, in the 2008 Walk to Cure Diabetes. Aliza is 10 years old and was diagnosed with Juvenal Diabetes this past year. Today, there were over 4,000 people walking to support the Juvenal Diabetes Research Foundation and raised over a $1,000,000.00. Team Aliza had over 50 people walking with her and raised over $13,000.
We had heavy rain last night with snow at higher elevation. Helen left early this morning to attend a conference in Breckenridge. She called to tell me that there is a lot of snow in Breck. I borrowed this photo from the Breck Webcam.
