Still sorting through all the photos we took on our recent trip to South America. This is at the Mirador las Torres (lookout towers) of the Torres Del Paine.

21 Jan 2011 Punta Arenas Chile

We made it safely to Punta Arenas, Chile. Our friends, Gary & Mel, also made it from LAX to Punta Arenas. Raining here today. Travel to Torres Del Paine tomorrow. Hiking starts on Sunday when sun is predicted.

14 Jan 2011 - Osorno Volcano Chile

From Chile

After basically 3 days of travel we woke up to a wonderful blue sky day and were able to hike. We hiked up about 3000´ towards another volcano and had a great view of Osorno Volcano.

On the 15th, the weather changed, rain and fog. Did not see the volcano today. Unfortunately rain is in the forcast for the rest of our stay in this region.
