13 Sept 2011 - Double Rainbows

On August 29th and September 2nd, we were treated with Double Rainbows. At least we did not freakout like the person in the video below.

12 Aug 2010 - Full Rainbow at Sunrise

Could not wait to post this photo of a full rainbow over the mountains. There were actually two rainbow but not in the photo. I will review the others and get them uploaded to the website.

After have snow in the early morning, we had a beautiful rainbow for evening sunset.

30 Jul 2009 - Stormy Weather

It started raining yesterday afternoon and hasn't let up. We had a major thunder storm last night and there was snow on the top of Red Mountain this morning. While we were eating breakfast it started raining again and then this Rainbow appeared over the mountains.
I took this last evening between Frisco and Silverthorne with my cell phone. Double rainbow over Dillon Reservoir.

21 Sept 2008 - Early Morning Rainbow

Helen and I were sitting in the front room just watching the continuous changing mountain scenery. It rained last night and then this morning when the sun hit the mountains, clouds started to form in the lower valley areas and creeped along the ridges. Then suddenly this rainbow appeared.
