14-Oct-2011 - Reflections

As I left for physical therapy this morning I drove by the North Pond near our house. I was happy that I had grab my camera before leaving since the pond was perfectly still and reflected Buffalo Mountain and Red Peak. In the past, I have either not had my camera with me when the pond was still or I was too late and the wind was already blowing. Timing is everything.

06 Oct 2008 - Reflections of Minneapolis

While visiting Bret & Jeri in Minnesota, we drove to downtown Minneapolis for the after noon. We visited the Forshay Tower, which was the tallest building in Minneapolis when Jeri grew up, and were able to go to the top of the building where the view of the city was spectacular. I am always looking for photo op's of reflections and Minneapolis was a perfect spot.

08 June 2008 - Mountain Reflection

Friday morning we were making breakfast and we noticed the mountain reflecting in the kitchen window. I took several photos and found it difficult to get the mountain image in focus. I guess the camera could not tell if the image was in the window or on the tree behind our house.

27 Sept 2007 - London Eye Reflection

With a full moon, I could not resist taking this photo of the London Eye reflection the lake in St. James Park last night. This was 30sec exposure.

I have been busy packing for our return flight on Saturday. When we arrived last February, we had four large checked bags, 2 roll on bags, and two backpacks. Returning we are limited to just 1 carry on bag each. Also Helen will have to put carry her purse inside the bag. I have packed our roll on bags and then put them into a larger checked bag. Hopefully, we will not be over the weight limit of 70lbs per bag.
