28 May 2008 - Cactus Blossom

Several years ago, Helen's friend Pat in Boulder gave her a cactus that has really taken off this year. This is one of the blossoms that measures 8x8". There are over 10 blossoms ready to or already have exploded.

Back in Summit County for a few days...

 

 

I have been back in Summit County since last Tuesday and will leave tomorrow to fly back to London.

Busy pulling weeds and fixing sprinkler systems. The photo of the mountains was taken this morning as the sun was just hitting it. It has been nice in the mornings and evenings but thunderstorms and rain during the middle of the day. Kool in the mornings and warm during the day. It is really nice to be able see stars instead of the London lights.

We will both be back from London on Sept. 29Th.
