15 Oct 2007 - Fall and then Winter

When we arrived home on Sept 29th, the fall colors were nearing their peak. During the next weeks, they peaked and leaves fell due to the colder weather and then on Oct 14th, we received about 5-6" of snow and all the fall colors have disappeared. This photo to the left was taken on Sept 30 as we hiked up Hamilton Creek. The photo below was take yesterday morning of the Gore Range across the valley from our home.
